The Agitated Thin Film Evaporator (ATFE), also known as Thin Film Evaporator (TFE) or Wiped Film Evaporator (WFE), is an advanced system for efficient evaporation and separation. It features a jacketed shell with a precision-machined inner surface and a high-speed rotor with blades that evenly agitate a thin liquid film on the heated wall.
How It Works:
- Feed Distribution: The liquid is distributed as a thin film across the heated surface

- Vapor Flow: Vapours flow counter-currently and are purified using an integrated entrainment separator.
